Faedo will be a part of the Tigers' 60-man player pool this season.
This move was widely expected as it will allow the Tigers to focus on the development of one of their top prospects. Faedo could make his MLB debut at some point this season, though Detroit may elect to simply have him around for scrimmages and practices.
