The 2021 NFL season may barely be in the books, but Dave Richard is already getting a jump on his 2022 preparation by highlighting at least one key statistic to know for each NFL team that had a major bearing on their 2021 performance and could mean a great deal for their 2022 outlook. In this space, Dave dives into the Buffalo Bills.

Buffalo Bills stats to know
Gabriel Davis has already become one of Fantasy's top breakout wide receivers for 2022. That's not crazy considering how his 2021 season wrapped up. Some notes from his big finish, which began in Week 14 when his playing time increased:
- Final six games: 45 targets, 26-449-8 with three drops, 17.6% target share, 57.8% catch rate, nine end-zone targets (one out of every five targets!)
- Final game at KC: 10 targets, eight catches 201 yards, four TDs
- Five games prior to KC: 35 targets, 18-248-4 (less than 50 yards per game)
There's no doubt that anyone who plays Fantasy will keep an eye on Davis' development this offseason. But concerns about target volume, particularly if he's not landing a high catch rate, pour cold water on his upside. Round 7 is the time to focus on Davis as of now.
