At the conclusion of SEC Media Days, the conference released its preseason media poll. In the spoiler alert to end all spoiler alerts, Alabama was chosen by the assembled media masses to be the conference's champion in 2016.

It's terrible news for Alabama, as the SEC media has correctly predicted the conference champion only five times since 1992.

The media has generally been much better at picking out the conference's best players, and on Friday, the media's preseason All-SEC teams were released.

Another shocker: Alabama has more first-teamers than anybody else.

A legitimate surprise was that, somehow, some way, LSU running back Leonard Fournette was not a unanimous first-team selection, though he did receive more points than any other player in the conference.

Here is your 2016 preseason All-SEC team. The numbers in parentheses are the total points each player received from the 331 voters.
