Ta'amu has been cut from the Panthers' practice squad, Darin Gantt of the Panthers' official site reports.
Ta'amu joined the Panthers' practice unit prior to Week 17 after getting cut from Washington's practice squad. He spent training camp with Detroit before failing to make the 53-man roster. The third-year quarterback is now set to continue his journeyman trajectory and look for a new landing spot.
