2017 NFL Draft Round 3
65 B

Browns select: Larry Ogunjobi, DT, Charlotte
Comments Big, raw physical player who will help a defense that needs help stopping the run. Nice move.

66 B+

49ers select: Ahkello Witherspoon, CB, Colorado
John Lynch continues to get good players. They need cover player and this kid can handle it.

67 C+
Saints select: Alvin Kamara, RB, Tennessee
I like the player, but why a back after signing Peterson? Weird.
68 B+
Jaguars select: Duwuane Smoot, DE, Illinois
He was on my list of Better-Than players because I think he has good pass-rush ability. Was much better in 2015 than last year.
69 B+
Rams select: Cooper Kupp, WR, Eastern Washington
The Rams need receiver help, but they had other options here that might have helped more. Draftniks loved Kupp more than the scouts.
70 B+

Vikings select: Pat Elfein, C, Ohio State
He can play guard or center for a team that needs line help. I like it.

71 A-

Chargers select: Dan Feeney, OG, Indiana
He is a good, college guard who will come in and push for a job right away. A nice pick.

72 B

Titans select: Taywan Taylor, WR, Western Kentucky
He was productive in an offense that throws the ball around. I like the pick here to get Marcus Mariota more help.

73 A

Bengals select: Jordan Willis, DE, Kansas State
This is a heck of a pick. They need an edge rusher and he will push for time at right end right away.

74 B+

Ravens select: Chris Wormley, DT, MIchigan
There were some scouts who thought he had second-round talent. And they need help up front.

75 B

Falcons select: Duke Riley, LB, LSU
Riley has speed, which you know the Falcons love, so he fits. Adding more speed makes sense. They are fast.

76 A

Saints select: Alex Anzalone, LB, Florida
If he can stay on he field, and injuries have been an issue,  he will be quality starter. I like it.

77 A

Panthers select: Daeshon Hall, DE, Texas A&M
Love this pick in this spot. Dave Gettleman know defensive ends. This is a steal.

78 B

Ravens select: Tim Williams, LB, Alabama
The talent is there, but there are character concerns. If he can stay out of trouble, it's a great pick. Big if.

79 B

Jets select: ArDarius Stewart, WR, Alabama
The Jets need help at receiver, so this makes sense. He isn't a big receiver, but he will get reps early.

80 B-

Colts select: Tarell Basham, DE, Ohio
He's got the ability to stand up as a pass rusher in their scheme, but he can also play down. They do need a young rusher to help.

81 B+

Redskins select: Fabian Moreau, CB, UCLA
He had first-round talent, but a torn pec muscle dropped him down to this round.

82 B

Broncos select: Carlos Henderson, WR, Louisiana Tech
The Broncos need a third receiver and this kid made a ton of plays in college and is a polished player. Nice pick.

83 B+

Patriots select: Derek Rivers, DE, Youngstown State
Some scouts liked him as a first-round talent, others didn't like him much at all. I think he's going to a good spot to learn.

84 B-

Buccaneers select: Chris Godwin, WR, Penn State
He is a playmaker who can run, which is always good to have. But is this a need?

85 B-

Patriots select: Antonio Garcia, OT, Troy
He will be a nice depth for a year and Nate Solder is int he last year of his contact. This is a depth pick.

86 B+

Chiefs select: Kareem Hunt, RB, Toledo
This is when you take a productive back and get real value. Hunt is a good player and the Chiefs need a young back.

87 B

Giants select: Davis Webb, QB, California
This is Eli Manning's replacement. They had to get him some time. It makes sense.

88 C

Raiders select: Eddie Vanderdoes, DT, UCLA
Feast or famine for Vanderdoes. When his weight is in check, he's a force. When it's not, he isn't nearly as good. There is talent.

89 B-

Texans select: D'Onta Foreman, RB, Texas
If he can keep his weight in check, he will help as a power runner.

90 B-

Seahawks select: Shaquill Griffin, CB, UCF
Long corner who fits with what the Seahawks want in a corner. He had some problems against upper level opponents.

91 B

Rams select: John Johnson, S, Boston College
Rangy safety who impressed when he went to the Senior Bowl. They need help on the back end.

92 B+

Cowboys select: Jourdan Lewis, CB, Michigan
He was a productive corner, but there are some size concerns. Fits a need.

93 B+

Packers select: Montravious Adams, DE, Auburn
This is a player who I liked more than the scouts. He can get lazy, but I like him.

94 B+

Steelers select: Cameron Sutton, CB, Tennessee
This kid is a corner who I think they can slide inside to safety and be a good player.

95 B-

Seahawks select: Delano Hill, S, Michigan
They have issues with safeties with Earl Thomas coming off an injury and Kam Chancellor in the last year of his contract.

96 B-

Patriots select: Kenny Golladay, WR, Northern Illinois
A big. physical receiver who gives them a big, young target. The speed is the concern.

97 B-

Dolphins select: Cordrea Tankersley, CB, Clemson
Their corners are solid, but Byron Maxwell isn't a kid anymore. This makes sense for Miami.

98 B

Cardinals select: Chad Williams, WR, Grambling State
They need help at receiver, and this kid put up numbers against lower level competition. But he doesn't run that well.

99 B

Eagles select: Rasul Douglas, CB, West Virginia
Douglas is a big corner at 6-2 who impressed at West Virginia. They need help there, and he can play man coverage at his size.

100 C+

Titans select: Jonnu Smith, TE, FIU
Pass-catching tight end who will add another weapon to the passing game. They have really helped Marcus Mariota.

101 C

Broncos select: Brendan Langley, CB, Lamar Southland
A good-sized corner who had some issues at the Senior Bowl after playing at a low level. Needs time.

102 B-

Seahawks select: Nazair Jones, DT, North Carolina
He is a big power player who will help their rotation inside. They know how to replace players inside.

103 B+

Saints select: Trey Hendrickson, DE, FAU
He has some pass rush talent and fills a need. It works.

104 C

49ers select: C.J. Beathard, QB, Iowa
I would have taken Nathan Peterman here, but they need a developmental guy so I get it.

105 A+

Steelers select: James Conner, RB, PIttsburgh
I am giving this kid an A just for being picked after beating cancer. It's a great story and he does have ability.

106 B+

Seahawks select: Amara Darboh, WR, Michigan
I think this is nice value here for a team that needs receiver help with Tyler Lockett coming off an injury.

107 B

Jets select: Kendell Beckwith, LB, LSU
He is a tough, physical linebacker who showed up in the big games. Had a ton of tackles vs. Alabama in a physical game, but he's not healthy yet.
