If you've ever been to a youth baseball game, you know there can be a lot of downtime between any sort of game action.

You're used to seeing outfielders sitting down, picking flowers or facing the wrong direction. But this young shortstop figured out a much more exciting way to pass the time.

In the middle of the game it suddenly dawned on him: "My glove is a shovel, and the infield is just a giant sandbox."

He pours an incredible amount of dirt on his head with his glove and his bare hand, then dumps dirt all over the pitcher's mound on his way off the field for good measure.

Props to @jr_chambers for perfectly syncing the video with a sick EDM trap soundtrack.
