Sanford logged an assist, two hits and three blocked shots in Monday's 4-2 win over the Canadiens.

Sanford ended a four-game point drought when he set up Adam Lowry for an empty-net goal. With three assists in 11 games since he was traded from the Senators to the Jets, Sanford continues to play more of a supporting role on offense. The winger has 20 points, 97 shots on net, 160 hits, 65 blocked shots and a minus-14 rating in 73 appearances this season.
