Just when you think the limits of the human stomach have been stretched to the max, Joey Chestnut comes along and blows your mind.

Chestnut downed 70 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes to win the annual Fourth of July contest at Nathan's Famous on Coney Island, breaking his own record of 69.

It wasn't even close, as Matt Stonie came in second with a total of 53.

The 32-year-old Chestnut had won eight straight competitions before losing the Mustard Yellow International Belt to Stonie last year in an upset.

Looks like revenge was on his mind on this Independence Day.

Defending champion Miki Sudo won the women's division by eating 38 1/2 hot dogs and buns in 10 minutes.
