There's an unsettling amount of gigantic, terrifying human beings popping up around the world.

First there was The Mountain. Then there was The Iranian Hulk. Now we have The Nightmare, possibly the most frightening of them all.

What makes him so scary? First there's his height (6-foot-8), then there's his size (325 pounds of shredded muscle), and then of course there's the fact that he's covered nearly head-to-toe in tattoos.

It's a combination that'll definitely make you cross sides of the street late at night. Have a look for yourself, but don't look too long -- he could jump through the screen and grab your throat at any moment.

That moment when someone asks you 'How many more sets you got left pal?' Hahahaha #bucfitness #martynford #gymlife

The Nightmare's actual name is Martyn Ford -- he's a 33-year-old actor and bodybuilder from the United Kingdom. His Instagram and Facebook pages are filled with photos that show off exactly how gigantic this man is. The most interesting one, however, might be this gem that shows what The Nightmare looked like when he was just a daydream.

It's hard to believe that's even the same person. Clearly he put down the Smirnoff Ice and picked up the whey protein.

I guess he's living proof that any normal-sized human can one day grow to be someone who invokes terror in his fellow man.
