Who's Playing

Memphis @ Los Angeles

Current Records: Memphis 26-14; Los Angeles 19-20

What to Know

The Memphis Grizzlies will square off against the Los Angeles Clippers on the road at 3:30 p.m. ET Saturday at Crypto.com Arena. Memphis will be strutting in after a win while the Clippers will be stumbling in from a defeat.

A well-balanced attack led the Grizz over the Detroit Pistons every single quarter on their way to victory on Thursday. The Grizzlies made easy work of Detroit and carried off a 118-88 victory. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Grizz had established a 90-68 advantage. Small forward Dillon Brooks and point guard Ja Morant were among the main playmakers for Memphis as the former had 18 points and five assists and the latter had 22 points and six assists along with nine boards.

Meanwhile, Los Angeles lost to the Phoenix Suns on the road by a decisive 106-89 margin. Shooting guard Eric Bledsoe wasn't much of a difference maker for Los Angeles; Bledsoe played for 35 minutes with 4-for-12 shooting and four turnovers.

Barring any buzzer beaters, the Grizzlies are expected to win a tight contest. They might be worth taking a chance on against the spread as they are currently on a four-game streak of ATS wins.

The Grizz's win brought them up to 26-14 while the Clippers' loss pulled them down to 19-20. Two stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: The Grizz comes into the contest boasting the most steals per game in the league at 10.2. Less enviably, Los Angeles has allowed their opponents an average of 8.5 steals per game, the fourth most in the league. In other words, they will need to work extra hard to take care of the ball.
