Liberty @ East Carolina
Current Records: Liberty 6-4; East Carolina 8-2
What to Know
The Liberty Flames will take on the East Carolina Pirates at 1:30 p.m. ET Friday at Spectrum Center. Liberty earned a 77-57 win in their most recent contest against East Carolina in November of 2019.
The Flames simply couldn't be stopped on Monday, as they easily beat the Carver College Cougars at home 95-36.
Meanwhile, the Pirates didn't have too much trouble with the North Carolina A&T Aggies at home last week as they won 82-71. Four players on East Carolina scored in the double digits: forward Vance Jackson (23), guard J.J. Miles (20), guard Tristen Newton (14), and guard Tremont Robinson-White (11).
Barring any buzzer beaters, Liberty is expected to win a tight contest. But bettors beware: they are only 2-4 against the spread when favored.
Their wins bumped Liberty to 6-4 and East Carolina to 8-2. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when the Flames and the Pirates clash.
