Oral Roberts @ TCU
Current Records: Oral Roberts 4-3; TCU 5-1
What to Know
The TCU Horned Frogs have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles at 8 p.m. ET Dec. 2 at Ed & Rae Schollmaier Arena. The Horned Frogs are out to keep their four-game home win streak alive.
While not quite a landslide, the game between TCU and the Austin Peay Governors on Monday was still a pretty decisive one as TCU wrapped it up with a 68-51 win at home. TCU's center Eddie Lampkin Jr. filled up the stat sheet, posting a double-double on 12 points and 12 rebounds. Lampkin Jr. hadn't helped his team much against the Pepperdine Waves last Wednesday, so this was a nice turnaround for him. Lampkin Jr.'s points were the most he has had all season.
Meanwhile, the Tulsa Golden Hurricane typically have all the answers at home, but on Monday Oral Roberts proved too difficult a challenge. Oral Roberts walked away with an 87-80 victory.
The Horned Frogs are the favorite in this one, with an expected 8.5-point margin of victory. But bettors beware: they are only 1-4-1 against the spread when favored.
Their wins bumped TCU to 5-1 and the Golden Eagles to 4-3. We'll see which team can carry over their success and which team inevitably falls when TCU and Oral Roberts clash.
