Who's Playing

No. 22 St. Bonaventure @ Marquette

Current Records: St. Bonaventure 4-0; Marquette 5-0

What to Know

The Marquette Golden Eagles will take on the #22 St. Bonaventure Bonnies at 7:30 p.m. ET Sunday at TD Arena.

Marquette strolled past the West Virginia Mountaineers with points to spare this past Friday, taking the contest 82-71. The Golden Eagles got double-digit scores from four players: guard Tyler Kolek (18), forward Justin Lewis (17), guard Kam Jones (12), and guard Darryl Morsell (11). Tyler Kolek's performance made up for a slower game against the Ole Miss Rebels this past Thursday. Kolek's points were the most he has had all season.

Meanwhile, it was a close one, but this past Friday St. Bonaventure sidestepped the Clemson Tigers for a 68-65 victory. The Bonnies can attribute much of their success to guard Jaren Holmes, who shot 5-for-8 from beyond the arc and finished with 19 points, five assists and five boards, and guard Kyle Lofton, who had 22 points.

The Golden Eagles are expected to lose this next one by 4.5. However, those who like betting on the underdog should be happy to hear that they are 3-0 against the spread when expected to lose.

Their wins bumped Marquette to 5-0 and St. Bonaventure to 4-0. In Marquette's win, Justin Lewis had 17 points in addition to five rebounds and Kolek had 18 points and eight assists along with six rebounds. We'll see if St. Bonaventure have a strategy for dealing with them or if they lead their team to another successful outing.
