The Eastern Illinois Panthers will square off against the Missouri Tigers at 8 p.m. ET Tuesday at Mizzou Arena. EIU will be strutting in after a win while Mizzou will be stumbling in from a loss.

The Panthers didn't have too much breathing room in their game with the North Park Vikings this past Saturday, but they still walked away with a 76-71 victory.

Meanwhile, Mizzou has to be hurting after a devastating 66-45 defeat at the hands of the Liberty Flames last week. Forward Kobe Brown (14 points) and guard Amari Davis (13 points) were the top scorers for Mizzou.

EIU is the clear underdog, so they're hoping it's the size of the fight that determines this one. Those betting on them against the spread shouldn't have high expectations for them since the team is 2-5 ATS when expected to lose.

The Panthers are now 2-7 while the Tigers sit at 4-4. A pair of offensive stats to keep in the back of your head while watching: EIU is stumbling into the contest with the fifth fewest points per game in college basketball, having accrued only 59.7 on average. Mizzou has experienced some struggles of their own as they have only been able to knock down 39.90% percent of their shots, which is the 31st lowest field goal percentage in college basketball. It's possible one of these Achilles' heels will wind up tripping the losing team up.
