Florida A&M might want to talk to its equipment manager because its road jerseys vs. Arkansas did not exactly meet the college football dress code.
The Rattlers were cited with a uniform violation at the opening kickoff for playing with illegal jerseys. As a result, they were docked a timeout each quarter.
According to Rule 1-4.5-b, the numbers must contrast with the jersey, even if the digits have visible borders.
Clearly, Florida A&M missed that memo.
The Rattlers beat Texas Southern 29-7 last Saturday and made their first road trip of the season on Thursday to War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock to battle Arkansas.
