Kobe Bryant's changing game might improve his Fantasy value. (USATSI)
Kobe Bryant's changing game might improve his Fantasy value. (USATSI)

The defining characteristic of Kobe Bryant's career has probably been his unwillingness to change his game, for better or worse. He always found ways to be effective in the past so why change, even if there might have been easier ways to get it done.

However, he seems to have realized that his all-in gunning style wasn't working for either himself or the team. Bryant has acknowledged his mortality lately, admitting he would be willing to shut it down for the rest of the season if the team asked him to do. However, his recent play has to be encouraging his Fantasy owners, who are getting 9.0 assists per game out of him over the last seven. As Joe Polito and I discuss on the podcast, that'd be great, if he could just stay on the floor.

In addition to Kobe's changing game, Joe and I discuss the rumors swirling around Brook Lopez and Lance Stephenson, look at some Fantasy trade options, and get through a bunch of listener emails.
