Monroe chipped in 11 points (5-9 FG, 1-1 FT), nine rebounds, six assists, one block and two steals across 25 minutes during Monday's 108-103 victory over the Celtics.
Monroe made his long-awaited return to the NBA after years of playing overseas and in the G League, and the former Pistons big man thrived on both ends of the court. He should keep playing off the bench as long as the Timberwolves continue to deal with a COVID-19 outbreak. They currently have their top three centers sidelined due to the league's health and safety protocols.
