Torres will attend training camp with Carolina on a professional tryout agreement (PTO), Ben Pope of The News Observer reports.

Having played 635 NHL games over his career with Vancouver, Phoenix, and San Jose, Torres has plenty of hockey knowledge he could pass down to the up and comers.
