Winning at Talladega Superspeedway isn't the only thing Dale Earnhardt Jr. is celebrating this week. NASCAR's most-popular driver is elated over the fact his parking spot at Hendrick Motorsports campus in Charlotte, NC, has been restored.

In late April, the 40-year-old Earnhardt tweeted out a picture regarding his missing parking spot.

It's clear from the picture that Hendrick teammates Jimmie Johnson, Kasey Kahne and Jeff Gordon all still had their respective spots, but Junior's was noticeably missing.

Well, as we all know, Hendricks Motorsports was not making a change in their garage. Earnhardt Jr. is still very much part of the organization and was able to celebrate a very emotional win Sunday.

It was Earnhardt's sixth victory at Talladega and first since 2004. He choked back tears after the win, as he remembered his legendary father, who would have celebrated his 64th birthday Wednesday.

"It's just real emotional. I haven't won here in a long time. It was my daddy's birthday a couple of days ago, and I'm just real emotional, man," he said, per the Associated Press. "I think about all the races he won here and at Daytona, I love when we go to victory lane because I feel like I add to his legacy there.

"All I ever want to do is make him proud. I feel like when we win at those tracks where he was successful, that's exactly what we're doing."

The win at Talladega will surely stay with Earnhardt Jr. for a long time, but it seems getting his parking spot back is no small feat either. In fact, he now gets to park next to the boss -- team owner and founder Rick Hendrick.
