WATCH: Charles Barkley openly rooting against UCLA because of LaVar Ball
Barkley isn't the biggest UCLA fan, and it's not because of any UCLA player
The feud between Charles Barkley and LaVar Ball lives on another day. The two polarizing figures have been back-and-forth at one another this week after Ball challenged him to a game of 1-on-1, with Barkley’s response calling him out for his 2 points per game average during his one season in college.
Ball responded by accusing him of eating too many donuts on set, and Barkley hasn’t forgot about it. He proudly sported a Kent State jersey during the telecast on Friday and admitted he will be openly rooting against UCLA.
“I got bitter anger and animosity toward certain people affiliated,” Barkley said. “Not the players. I love Steve Alford.”
Barkley is now a Golden Flashes fan, if only for a night. So if UCLA advances tonight, we might see him in a number of different jersey’s over the next days/weeks. And best of all, this hilarious public feud continues on.
No. 3 seed UCLA faces Kent State on Friday night.
