Holmes (back) played 15 minutes in Saturday's 114-113 loss to the Mavericks, finishing with six points (2-3 FG, 2-2 FT) and six rebounds.

Holmes stepped into the rotation as the Kings' backup center behind Domantas Sabonis after missing the team's previous five contests with the back injury. Kings interim head coach Alvin Gentry seemingly has no plans to play Sabonis and Holmes alongside one another, a reality that has made the latter not worthy of a roster spot in 12-team leagues since Sacramento acquired Sabonis.
