Howard isn't starting Friday's game against the Trail Blazers, Kyle Goon of The Orange County Register reports.

Howard returned to the starting five for Wednesday's matchup against the Grizzlies, but he'll come off the bench for the second time in the last three games. Stanley Johnson will draw the start against Portland.
