You say any major is better when Tiger Woods plays. I say any major is better when John Daly plays. And Daly gets to play the PGA Championship for the rest of his life because he took the 1991 version at Crooked Stick.
Daly has been crushing it at Baltusrol all week. First, he rolled out with his Dallas Cowboys tumbler filled with Diet Coke (and something else?) for a practice round.

Then, he showed up to the Champions Dinner on Tuesday evening wearing the most patriotic scripting I've ever seen.

The star-spangled party didn't stop there either. Daly is playing his Wednesday practice round in what appears to be a cousin of his Tuesday night outfit. The only thing missing is his caddie (and wife) rocking a Statue of Liberty outfit. Maybe we're due for that on Thursday or Friday.

Daly has only made one cut at this tournament in the last eight years. He finished T18 at the 2012 PGA Championship which Rory McIlroy won at Kiawah.
