Allen Iverson put his entire heart into the game of basketball. He was smaller than most, but his heart was bigger than just about everybody's. It's what endeared fans to him and made a generation of basketball lovers either fall in love with his game or at least respect it as they feared him on a nightly basis. Iverson wasn't afraid to get emotional and let it all out in his speech, much like we saw on the court.
You felt the love of the game from Iverson and you felt the love of Iverson through the crowd that has created, celebrated, and evolved the game. There aren't words that can do it justice. You just have to watch this great moment.
This is exactly what the speech of Allen Iverson was supposed to be and it still exceeded expectations. Much like his Hall of Fame career.
