After 17 years in the booth as the voice of SEC football on CBS, Verne Lundquist said his final goodbye on an SEC broadcast following No. 1 Alabama's 54-16 victory over No. 15 Florida in the 2016 SEC Championship Game. (Uncle Verne will be back on the call one last time next week for the Army-Navy game).

During his 17 years in the booth, Lundquist made some of the most iconic calls in college football history, covering everything from Johnny Manziel's heroics against Alabama to Auburn's kick-six game-winner against the Tide.

CBS aired a four-minute tribute video after the broadcast that is guaranteed to give you goosebumps and may make it a bit dusty wherever you're viewing it.

After Lundquist signed off on Saturday, many took to Twitter to pay tribute to the broadcasting legend and thank him for 17 years of memories on the SEC on CBS.
