Cecil landed on the disabled list earlier in the week with what was described as tightness in his triceps. However, Monday's MRI revealed a more serious injury, one that will likely cost him a minimum of one month. His absence leaves Toronto with Chad Girodo and Pat venditte as the only left-handed relievers on the Blue Jays' active roster.
