According to his father, Byram isn't dealing with a new concussion, but he is dealing with lingering issues likely stemming from his past head injuries, Peter Baugh of The Athletic reports.

Byram has already suffered a number of concussions through the first two years of his young NHL career, and the fact that he's dealing with lingering issues stemming from those injuries doesn't bode well for his near-term availability. Until the Avalanche release another update, Byram should probably be considered out indefinitely.
