Islanders' Sebastian Aho: Picks up power-play helper

Aho notched a power-play assist and blocked three shots in Sunday's 3-2 shootout loss to the Blackhawks.

Aho helped out on a Jean-Gabriel Pageau goal in the second period, setting up the center for a deflection. The assist was Aho's second in nine games this year. The Swedish blueliner has added 16 shots on net, nine hits, eight blocks and a minus-4 rating. He'll be limited to a third-pairing role now that the Islanders' blue line is almost back to full health, but Aho's role on the power play could make him a viable budget option in DFS if the Isles' offense starts putting the puck away more.
