  • Avalanche's Conor Timmins: Headed for minors
    By RotoWire Staff

Timmins (concussion) will join AHL Colorado to continue his recovery, Ryan S. Clark of The Athletic reports. While Timmins has been skating with the team lately, his demotion to the minors should be considered a step in the right direction. When he might dress for the Eagles remains to be seen, but if he can get his legs back under him quickly, he could still earn a call-up at some point this season.

  • Timmins (concussion) is back in Colorado getting some work in with the coaching staff ahead of Friday's practice, Ryan S. Clark of The Athletic reports. While Timmins is still dealing with concussion-like symptoms, it's a step forward that he is back with the team after having been sent home in October to recover there. Once given the green light, the blueliner will almost certainly be sent down to the minors, rather than occupy a spot on the 23-man roster once taken off non-roster injured reserve.

  • Avalanche's Conor Timmins: Sent home for recovery
    By RotoWire Staff

Timmins (concussion) will not join the Avalanche on their upcoming four game road trip, Mike Chambers of The Denver Post reports. Timmins' injury is not progressing as well as the team had hoped, so he's been ruled out until Oct. 24 at the very least. The exciting prospect should be ready to make his NHL debut once healthy, but recovery timetables for concussions are never easy to pinpoint.

  • Timmins (concussion) is considered week-to-week, which could see him miss the bulk of training camp, Mike Chambers of The Denver Post reports. Given the organization's depth on the blue line, Timmins was a longshot to make the Opening Night roster, but an extended absence all but guarantees the Ontario native will find himself playing either back with his junior team or with newly formed AHL Colorado this season.

  • Timmins won't participate in Colorado's development camp due to a concussion, Mike Chambers of The Denver Post reports. The Avalanche are likely just being extra cautious with their second-round pick from the 2017 draft, and there's no reason to believe Timmins won't be ready for training camp at this juncture. The 19-year-old blueliner has been highly productive while playing for the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds of the OHL over the past three seasons, racking up 19 goals and 115 points in 163 contests, but he'll likely spend the majority of the 2018-19 campaign continuing his development with AHL Colorado.
