The Trail Blazers announced Monday that Little will undergo season-ending surgery to repair the torn labrum in his left shoulder.

The injury couldn't have come at a worse time for the third-year pro, who was in the midst of his best statistical season. Little finishes the 2021-22 campaign averaging 9.8 points and 5.6 rebounds in 25.9 minutes per game -- all career highs. His absence should open up more opportunities for CJ Elleby and Tony Snell, while Norman Powell will likely be solidified as a starter on the wing alongside guards CJ McCollum and Anfernee Simons.
