Thomas was recalled from AHL Ontario to the taxi squad Tuesday, John Hoven of SiriusXM NHL Network Radio reports.
Thomas is off to a slow start in the minors, as he has posted two goals and a minus-9 rating through the first 10 AHL games this year. Hoven suggested that Thomas likely will be sent back to minors for Thursday's AHL game.
