Skinner will be elevated to the active roster from the taxi squad and start between the pipes against the Senators at home Saturday, Daniel Nugent-Bowman of The Athletic reports

Skinner has gone 4-5-0 with a 2.70 GAA and a .916 save percentage over 10 NHL appearances this season. The 23-year-old has also drawn into eight games with AHL Bakersfield this year, posting a 6-0-2 record with a 1.96 GAA and a .925 save percentage. Ottawa has averaged 2.73 goals and 28.73 shots on goal this season, so Skinner will be entering a pretty favorable matchup.
