Jackson remains unsure if he'll opt out of his minor-league contract, Steve Earley of The Virginian-Pilot reports.

The 14-year major-league veteran isn't likely to hang around the minors much longer. However, Jackson's obviously holding out hope based on the fact he let the June 1 opt-out date pass without making a decision. "Who knows? We'll see," Jackson said. "But as of right now, I'm just continuing on with my day as a normal day and getting my work done." The Orioles' big-league rotation hasn't been great, so the club has no reason to shun the right-hander. It wouldn't be a surprise to see him get a do-or-die run with the MLB team in the near future.
