Gorski (quadriceps) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Wednesday, Mike Persak of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reports.

Gorski landed on the 7-day injured list at Double-A Altoona last week and will require a significant recovery process. The 24-year-old isn't expected to require surgery, but he faces a recovery timetable of 6-to-8 weeks. Whether he'll be able to return to game action prior to the end of the minor-league season remains to be seen.
