Wisler underwent imaging Tuesday that confirmed no additional damage to his injured finger, but he'll remain shut down from throwing "for a little bit" according to manager Kevin Cash, the team's official site reports.

The right-hander has been dealing with the finger issue since Aug. 13, when he first went on the injured list as a result of it. His Sept. 8 return lasted all of five pitches before a flare-up occurred, leaving Wisler's availability for the remainder of the regular season up in the air despite Tuesday's encouraging news.
