Although Horford has cleared the NBA's health and safety protocols, he will be unavailable for Saturday's Christmas Day matchup with the Bucks due to conditioning.

The Celtics will opt to give Horford some extra time to get back into game shape instead of possibly putting the veteran big man out there too early. His next opportunity to return will come Monday versus the Timberwolves.
