Lankinen (hand) was placed on injured reserve Sunday, per Ben Pope of the Chicago Sun-Times.

Lankinen has posted a 0-2-2 record with a 3.77 GAA and an .892 save percentage over five appearances this season. The 26-year-old injured his right hand in Saturday's game against the Wild, Pope adds. While Lankinen is on injured reserve for a minimum of seven days, call-up Arvid Soderblom will serve as the primary backup to Marc-Andre Fleury.
