Carrier has been placed in the NHL's COVID-19 protocols, Jesse Granger of The Athletic reports.
Carrier has already missed the past two games while nursing a presumably unrelated undisclosed injury. Now that he's in the NHL's COVID-19 protocols, the bottom-six forward won't be available for at least 10 days.
