Jets' Paul Stastny: Not playing Thursday

Stastny (lower body) won't play Thursday versus the Avalanche, Mitchell Clinton of the Jets' official site reports.

Stastny wasn't on the ice for warmups after being deemed a game-time decision earlier Thursday. C.J. Suess will enter the lineup in a bottom-six role in place of Stastny, whose next chance to return is next Thursday versus the Red Wings. per Mike McIntyre of the Winnipeg Free Press, Stastny's injury is a lower-body issue.
