Vasilevskiy posted a 17-save shutout in Friday's 3-0 win over the Kraken.
The NHL's newest franchise couldn't muster much of anything against Vasilevskiy, who earned a shutout for the second straight game. It was his 28th career shutout. The 27-year-old improved to 10-3-3 with a 2.09 GAA and a .926 save percentage in 16 games. A quarter of the way through the season, Vasilevskiy is playing up to the lofty expectations fantasy managers had for him when selecting him in the first round of drafts. The Lightning head out on the road for the next two games, beginning Sunday in Minnesota.
