According to coach Dean Evason, Brodin (upper body) will probably miss more than a week of action, Jessi Pierce of The Athletic reports.

With Brodin facing an extended absence, the Wild currently only have six healthy defensemen and 10 healthy forwards on their roster, so it's safe to assume they'll be calling up several players from their taxi squad ahead of Saturday's clash with the Capitals. Due to the expected length of his absence, it wouldn't be surprising to see Brodin land on injured reserve.
