OK, that's pretty outstanding. A lot of big-leaguers are what you might call "fan-aware" and are very generous with their time and availability. That said, I'm not sure I've ever seen a ballplayer at this level play catch with the fan of the opposition in the stands. The young man in question was probably already a fan for life, but this round of catch with one of the best pitchers in the game will no doubt reaffirm his love of baseball.
