WATCH: Minor league game delayed after sheep gets loose on the field
A promotion gone wrong led to a two-minute sheep delay

So why was their a sheep at the ballpark in the first place? The Spikes booked Whiplash the Cowboy Monkey for a promotion, and part of the act involved several sheep. Someone accidentally left a gate open and the sheep made an unsuccessful break for it.
Nice try by the sheep, but alas. The plot was foiled. Better luck next time.
