Arizona @ Chicago
Current Records: Arizona 9-2; Chicago 4-7
What to Know
The Arizona Cardinals have had a week off and are no doubt ready to get back on the field. They are on the road again Sunday and play against the Chicago Bears at 1 p.m. ET Dec. 5 at Soldier Field. Arizona won't have the home-field advantage, but they do enjoy a 7.5-point advantage in the spread.
The Cardinals bagged a 23-13 win over the Seattle Seahawks two weeks ago. Arizona relied on the efforts of TE Zach Ertz, who caught eight passes for two TDs and 88 yards, and QB Colt McCoy, who passed for two TDs and 328 yards on 44 attempts. That was the first 300+ yard effort for McCoy this season.
As for Chicago, they can't say they have nothing to be thankful for this Thanksgiving week. Last Thursday, they narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Detroit Lions 16-14. Kudos to the oddsmakers for accurately forecasting both the winner and the close margin. No one had a standout game offensively for Chicago, but they got one touchdown from TE Jimmy Graham. QB Andy Dalton ended up with a passer rating of 133.10.
Most of the squad's points came courtesy of special teams, which contributed ten. K Cairo Santos delivered a perfect 3-for-3 game.
The wins brought Arizona up to 9-2 and the Bears to 4-7. A pair of offensive stats to keep an eye on: The Cardinals enter the matchup with 17 rushing touchdowns, good for second best in the NFL. Less enviably, Chicago is worst in the league in passing touchdowns, with only eight on the season. So the cards are definitely stacked against Chicago.
