Pistons head coach Dwane Casey said Tuesday that he hopes Diallo (finger) will return before the season ends, but he remains without a return timetable, Omari Sankofa II of the Detroit Free Press reports.

Diallo has missed six straight games, and based on Casey's comments, he'll likely be sidelined for at least another week. Casey added that he doesn't want to shut down the talented guard for the remainder of the campaign because he feels like the final three weeks of the regular season will offer beneficial development time for Detroit's young squad.
