  • Eagles' Jake Elliott: Limited impact against Tampa Bay

Elliott made his lone extra-point try in Sunday's 31-15 loss to the Buccaneers.

Elliott was quite productive across the second half of the regular season in 2021 but didn't have many opportunities during the Eagles' playoff loss. However, the 26-year-old had a career-best performance while appearing in all 17 regular-season games. He made 30 of 33 field-goal attempts while converting all 44 of his extra-point tries and will attempt to maintain his momentum heading into the 2022 campaign.

  • Eagles' Quez Watkins: Seven targets in postseason loss

Watkins caught two of seen targets for 35 yards during Sunday's 31-15 loss to the Buccaneers.

Watkins drew seven targets during the Eagles' Week 18 loss to the Cowboys, and he matched that total during the postseason opener. The 23-year-old saw an inconsistent workload during the 2021 campaign and secured 43 of 62 targets for 647 yards and a touchdown while rushing once for three yards across 17 regular-season appearances. He showed some improvement during his second professional campaign and could enter the 2022 season as Philadelphia's No. 2 option at wide receiver.

  • Eagles' Jalen Reagor: Minimal work against Buccaneers

Reagor caught one of three targets for two yards in Sunday's 31-15 loss to the Buccaneers.

Reagor had at least five targets in four of the first five games of the regular season, but his workload diminished later in the year. He topped five targets just once in the final 12 contests during the regular season and caught just 33 of 57 targets for 299 yards and two touchdowns while rushing 10 times for 32 yards across 17 appearances. The 23-year-old was Philadelphia's first-round pick during the 2020 NFL Draft, but he's failed to carve out much of a role across his first two professional seasons.

  • Eagles' Jordan Howard: One touch against Buccaneers

Howard hauled in his lone target for seven yards in Sunday's 31-15 loss to Tampa Bay.

Howard began the 2021 campaign on the Eagles' practice squad but joined the active roster for the first time at the end of October. He landed a contract in November and appeared in seven total regular-season games. He recorded double-digit touches in each of those appearances but was limited in the wild-card round because Miles Sanders and Boston Scott were available. Across his seven regular-season appearances, Howard tallied 86 carries for 406 yards and three touchdowns while catching two of five targets for 19 yards. The 27-year-old is slated to become an unrestricted free agent during the offseason.

  • Eagles' Boston Scott: Reaches end zone in wild-card loss

Scott rushed once for 34 yards and a touchdown while securing his lone target for one yard in Sunday's 31-15 loss to the Buccaneers.

Scott took on a backup role during Sunday's playoff matchup since Miles Sanders was available, but he still scored one of the Eagles' two touchdowns in the loss. The 26-year-old didn't have much fantasy value when Sanders was on the field, and he totaled 87 carries for 373 yards and seven touchdowns while securing 13 of 16 targets for 83 yards during the regular season. Scott is slated to become a restricted free agent during the offseason but will likely remain in a secondary role if he stays with the Eagles.

  • Eagles' Kenneth Gainwell: Gets involved in postseason loss

Gainwell rushed the ball one time for six yards in Sunday's 31-15 loss to the Buccaneers in the wild-card round. He added five receptions for 49 yards and a touchdown.

Gainwell was the most productive running back for Philadelphia on Sunday, thanks in large part to game script. He had only two receptions for three yards in the first half, but he picked up gains of 20 and 16 yards as a receiver in the fourth quarter -- the latter of which went for a touchdown. Besides games when the Eagles' running back depth chart was depleted, Gainwell struggled to receive consistent touches in his rookie season. However, with Jordan Howard hitting unrestricted free agency and Boston Scott a restricted free agent this offseason, Gainwell could step into a bigger role in 2022.

  • Eagles' Jalen Hurts: In walking boot after Sunday's loss

Following Sunday's playoff loss to the Buccaneers, Hurts sported a walking boot that he hinted was related to the ankle injury he sustained in Week 12, Mike Kaye of The Newark Star-Ledger reports.

Hurts also noted that he hopes he doesn't need surgery, but evidently that possibility could potentially be on the table as the Eagles head into their offseason. Either way, the 2020 second-rounder has plenty of time to heal up before Philadelphia re-takes the field. However it remains to be seen what, if any, QB competition is added in the coming months by the franchise, which holds three first-round draft choices in 2022.

  • Eagles' Miles Sanders: Seven carries in return

Sanders (hand) recorded seven carries for 16 yards in Sunday's 31-15 wild-card round loss to the Buccaneers. He added three receptions for 12 yards.

Sanders accounted for seven of the team's nine rushing attempts by running backs in the game, though Jalen Hurts and game script lowered his overall volume. He was largely constrained by the Buccaneers' stout run defense, though he did tally one rush that went for a double-digit gain. Though Sanders managed his most efficient season on the ground in 2021, he will enter the final year of his rookie contract having failed to top 180 rushing attempts in any of his first three campaigns as a pro.

  • Eagles' Dallas Goedert: Top receiver against Bucs

Goedert recorded six catches on 12 targets for 92 yards in Sunday's 31-15 wild-card round loss to the Buccaneers.

Goedert was one of the few Eagles who produced consistently throughout the game, and he led the team in most receiving stats. He found holes in the Tampa Bay secondary for several big plays, including catches that went for 28, 17 and 16 yards. The only thing missing from his performance was a trip to the end zone, with Kenneth Gainwell and Boston Scott instead tallying the team's touchdowns. Heading into 2022, Goedert figures to pair with DeVonta Smith as key members of Philadelphia's passing attack after he produced a career-high 830 receiving yards across 15 games during the 2021 campaign.

  • Eagles' DeVonta Smith: Produces little with 11 targets

Smith recorded four receptions on 11 targets for 60 yards in Sunday's 31-15 wild-card round loss to the Buccaneers.

Smith finished second on the team with 11 targets, but he averaged only 5.5 yards per look on his way to a disappointing performance. Though his final line was uninspiring, Smith did turn in a strong second half, as he had only one reception on two targets through the first two quarters. Though it came in garbage time, Smith picked up chunk gains of 31 and 19 yards in the fourth quarter to account for the majority of his production. He'll now look toward his second season as a pro after a solid rookie campaign that was highlighted by 61 catches, 916 yards and five touchdowns across 17 games.

  • Eagles' Jalen Hurts: Produces late

Hurts competed 23 of 43 passes for 258 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions in Sunday's 31-15 wild-card round loss to Tampa Bay. He added eight rushes for 39 yards.

Hurts and the entire Philadelphia offense struggled mightily for the majority of the game, as he picked up 107 passing yards and his lone touchdown in the final quarter that began with the team down 31-0. Otherwise, Hurts put together an uninspiring performance that was largely dominated by wayward and mistimed throws. He was even stymied on the ground and held below 40 rushing yards for the third time in his last four starts. Though Hurts managed to lead the Eagles into the postseason, his performance in Sunday's loss could call his long-term future as the starting quarterback into question -- particularly given that the team has three first-round picks.

  • Eagles' Lane Johnson: Questionable to return Sunday

Johnson (knee) is questionable to return Sunday against the Buccaneers.

Johnson was limited during Friday's practice, but he didn't carry an injury designation heading into the wild-card matchup with Tampa Bay. However, he appears to have aggravated the injury and is unlikely to return. In his absence, Jordan Mailata will take over at right tackle.

  • Eagles' Greg Ward: Won't return Sunday

Ward (back) has been ruled out for the remainder of Sunday's wild-card matchup against the Buccaneers.

Ward was limited during Wednesday's practice due to a back issue, and it appears he aggravated it during Sunday's game. He wasn't targeted in the passing attack, so his absence is unlikely to change the Eagles' offensive game plan.
