Cameron (finger) will miss the rest of the season after breaking his left pointer finger during Wednesday's game with short-season Tri City, Jake Kaplan of the Houston Chronicle reports.

Cameron was hit by a pitch in the first inning of Wednesday's game and immediately exited the contest. The 19-year-old was the 37th overall pick in the 2015 draft, and had been batting .278/.352/.418 during 19 games with Tri-City after struggling during an initial assignment with Low-A Quad Cities. Cameron will be ready for spring training next year after spending the rest of this season recovering from this injury.
