Benintendi is in the Red Sox's Grapefruit League lineup Thursday batting second, and he may start the regular season in that role, Ian Browne of MLB.com reports.

After previously considering Benintendi to hit third, manager John Farrell has shifted and may put the hyped prospect second ahead of Mookie Betts, which would help Benintendi see plenty of pitches to hit. Though some questions exist over what the dynasty league gem can offer out of the gate, the 22-year-old will occupy a prime spot in what should be one of the league's best lineups. His 2017 line will likely contribute significantly across all five standard offensive fantasy categories, which makes him a valuable middle-rounds mixed league pick.
