Lillard (abdomen) has been ruled out for at least the Trail Blazers' next three games.

The Blazers provided a rather vague update on the superstar guard Wednesday, stating only that he'll "undergo further evaluation and consultation concerning his lower abdominal tendinopathy." The team plans to evaluate Lillard again early next week, but in the meantime he'll sit out against Miami (Jan. 5), Cleveland (Jan. 7) and Sacramento (Jan. 9). Portland also plays Monday (Jan. 10) versus Brooklyn, so given the timetable, it's very possible he could miss that contest as well. With CJ McCollum (lung) sidelined indefinitely, Anfernee Simons will continue to take on a larger role in the backcourt.
