Porzingis (knee) is not expected to play in Tuesday's game against Detroit, Josh Robbins of The Athletic reports.
The big man is yet to debut for the Wizards since coming over from Dallas at the deadline, but Robbins notes that Porzingis has been able to go through some one-on-one work at recent practices. Dating back to the start of January, Porzingis has only appeared in eight of a possible 27 contests as he continues to deal with a bone bruise in his right knee. The Wizards don't appear interested in shutting him down, though given their 11th position in the East they certainly won't be rushing him back into action.
